Lucky 🍀
27 years of Annie!
Celebrated 27 years of being the luckiest girl alive this week. And not just because my birthday is on St. Patrick’s Day.
Even the word “Lucky”, a nickname we called my sister growing up. I guess it runs in the family.
If you know me, 17 is my lucky number (for obvious reasons). So 27 feels like another golden(ish) birthday. A mature golden birthday, if you will.
A year that I get to choose myself. Of doing whatever the fuck Annie wants to do! Of never feeling more free, confident, secure in my decisions, my body, my mind. Okay with the crazy changes life has thrown. Nothing I can’t survive, thrive in.
The universe has rewarded me with omens, people, opportunities, wins. As well as rejections, losses, signals, and warnings. Ways to get out. A navigable path, as long as you pay attention. As long as you have faith in the journey. Belief in your capability to weather the storm and float on.
For our days, years, could be cut short at any moment. So how lucky are we to enjoy life to the fullest, inhaling the goodness that it is to be alive? To visit with friends and family. To share. To love. To dance. To sing. To smile and laugh so deeply and to remember those moments so vividly.
A contagious energy, for if you give, you must also receive. Inviting that energy to the table, not questioning its presence, just letting it exist in that time and space.
Letting the queue run, trusting that whatever comes next is planned. Worth listening to.
How lucky am I to have the world at my fingertips? To have love that spreads from Oregon to Spain and all the cities and temporary homes in between. To travel and share a part of their world with them.
How lucky I am to cherish life’s greatest moments. To love the version I am becoming.
3/17 & Birthday Tarot Reading:
4 of Pentacles (past): “When the 4 of Pentacles depicts a romantic partner, it comes with a word of warning. Someone described by this card may view a partner in the same way they view their property and might become obsessive. As well as being reluctant to share their own time and money, this person may try to control their significant other’s schedule, relationships, and individuality.”
Queen of Wands (present): A strong, independent woman. Known to be both sociable and caring, she can be found at the center of most communities, inspiring and helping to bring groups together. A soul of fire, a force to be reckoned with when challenged. “What is commendable about this lady is that she manages to maintain all of her responsibilities, and none are neglected.”
8 of Wands (future): A card of movement. Due to the nature of the element of Fire, it regards drive and can push situations forward quickly and release those things that have previously been delayed. Describes anyone who is out and about and on the move.
Can’t make this shit up, folks – all of the signs and answers are right there!
27 will be a year of being on the move. A year of independence, strength, confidence, and pushing things forward.
Of making my wildest of daydreams come true. The year of Annie.
Happy birthday to me.
Sincerely,
Your Pisces, St. Patrick’s day, green bean baby 💚🌈🍀✨
